One number, answered by a person

Call and describe what is happening at home, at any hour, and we will tell you honestly whether this is the right kind of help before anybody talks about money.

Rather talk than type? A person answers 24 hours a day, including weekends and holidays. (916) 229-8120

Or pick a time for a call

In case we cannot reach you by phone.

Your mother, your husband, yourself.

Weekday mornings, after 6pm, any time.

We call back, usually the same day. If it is urgent, call (916) 229-8120. If this is a medical emergency, call 911.

What happens next

From the first call to the first visit

You call

At any hour. Tell us what is happening at home and we will tell you honestly whether this is the right kind of help.

We visit the house

Free, and no obligation. We look at the routine and the layout, then put a plan and a clear cost in writing before anything begins.

You meet your caregiver

Matched on skills and on temperament, and introduced before care starts. A second familiar face is kept ready for vacation and sick days.

Book it yourself

Pick a time to talk

If you would rather not phone right now, choose a slot and Mereani will call you. She will tell you what kind of help fits, then arrange the free visit to the house if it makes sense. Both cost nothing.

Would rather not book online? Call (916) 229-8120 and a person will answer.

Most of the time we would rather come to you, because a care plan written in an office is a guess. Email admin@guidingsoulshomecare.com.

What are your office hours?

The office on Fair Oaks Boulevard is open Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, by appointment. Care and the phone run around the clock, every day, so if something happens at two in the morning there is a person to call.

Do I need an appointment to visit the office?

Yes, please call first. The office is small and the people in it are usually out at somebody's house. Call (916) 229-8120 and we will set a time, or we will come to you, which is what most families prefer anyway.

What happens when I call?

You describe what is happening at home. We ask enough questions to work out whether this is the kind of help we provide, and if it is not we say so and tell you who to call instead. If it is, we arrange a visit to the house to look at the routine and the layout before anything is decided.

Which areas do you cover?

Sacramento, Placer, Yolo and El Dorado counties. That includes Sacramento, Carmichael, Fair Oaks, Citrus Heights, Folsom, Rancho Cordova, Orangevale, Roseville, Lincoln and Auburn. If your address is not on that list, call and ask, because the answer is often still yes.
